For ten years Jesse has been New Zealand’s face of 7pm, anchoring the live, top-rating news and entertainment show The Project. He is also host of “Afternoons”, a daily interview-led public radio show on national broadcaster RNZ.

From his beginnings as a stand up comedian, Jesse has become NZ’s premiere live host - from high-profile televised events like the Aotearoa Music Awards to industry awards nights, seminars, panels and roadshows.

He’s also a sought-after facilitator of business events including association conferences and corporate training. His new series of AI Briefings for Business provide organisations with coveted training on the most important emerging technology of our time.

Writing

Since 2015 Jesse has been weekly restaurant critic for the NZ Herald. He is also a freelance contributor to a number of titles including The Economist, an experienced TV comedy writer and author of a weekly subscription newsletter: I Ate Auckland. He has written extensively for brands, as a senior PR in a busy Covent Garden agency and more recently as a contract copywriter.
